I was browsing through the IMDB (Internet Movie Database) earlier and I thought I would check out their top 100 films of all time. To my surprise, The Shawshank Redemption high right, directly above the Godfather with an overall rating of "9, 1." This led me to think about when the offender is actually the best movie of all time or not. I must say now that it (at least in my top 3 films of all time along with Fight Club "and" Once Upon a Time) in the West.

The film is based on a short story by legendary writer Stephen King is based, and is directed by Frank Darabont. Tim Robbins plays a man who was charged with the crime of murdering his wife and her lover and sent to prison in the United States condemned. While recording Andy (Robbins), Red (excellent game played by Morgan Freeman), and their friendship begins to start to grow, as Andy make a reputation for himself on the inside.

The film has good actors, and is the kind of film you again and again and feel the same emotions as you can see the first time. While the document sound is pretty average and boring on paper, it is only when the movie you are fully immersed in the lives of the characters and almost feel as if you are in prison to see them. Overall, I think it is definitely one of the prisoners of the best films of all time, and should be seen by all. If it is best always a matter of opinion, however.
